Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and related browser-storage technologies used across CutoverGrid websites and services.

Effective: October 24, 2026

1. About cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Related technologies include local storage, session storage, and similar mechanisms that remember security state, settings, or service interactions. CutoverGrid uses these technologies to operate secure sessions, remember choices, maintain service reliability, and understand aggregate website performance.

2. Categories we use

CategoryPurposeControl
Strictly necessaryAuthentication, session continuity, security controls, request routing, and fraud prevention.Required for service operation
PreferencesInterface choices such as navigation state, display preferences, and saved workspace behavior.Managed through browser or service settings
MeasurementAggregate website and service performance, page use, errors, and feature reliability.Controlled through consent and browser settings

CutoverGrid does not use browser storage to sell personal information or build third-party advertising profiles.

3. Service storage

When you submit a Scout, demo, or contact request, you are directed to FormSubmit, which may use an anti-spam verification step and its own cookies or related technologies. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy and our Privacy Policy for details about form processing.

The authenticated application uses necessary session and security records to keep users signed in, enforce workspace permissions, prevent cross-site request attacks, and protect account activity. Preference records help maintain settings selected by the user.

Repository contents, assessment evidence, and integration credentials are not stored in advertising cookies. Their handling follows workspace security, retention, and access controls described in the Privacy Policy and Security overview.

4. Your choices

Browsers allow users to delete or block cookies, restrict cross-site storage, and clear site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent authentication, security controls, or core application functions from working.

Where consent is required, CutoverGrid presents controls before using non-essential measurement technologies. A user can update that choice through available cookie settings or by clearing site data and selecting again.

5. Retention

Session records expire when the session ends or after a defined security interval. Persistent preferences and measurement records expire according to their operational purpose and are periodically reviewed. Browser controls can remove stored records at any time.

6. Changes to this policy

Updates are posted on this page. The effective date identifies the current policy version, and material changes are communicated through the service where appropriate.

7. Contact

Questions about cookies and browser storage can be sent to sales@cutovergrid.co.
